CONSULTING SERVICES

Organizations, small and large, are constantly navigating conflicts, especially during periods of change. (re)Frame Conflict aims to work collaboratively with our clients to offer services to promote productive conflict resolution, management, and transformative processes. We also work with organizations to develop strategic approaches for constructively navigating conflict so as to benefit an organization's culture and mission.

Examples of this work include:​​

  • Process design and facilitation: We work with key members of a team to design a group process tailored to the team with the intent of effectively meeting the desired goals. Then, we aid in the facilitation of the process. Processes can vary in length and scope depending on the identified goals.

  • Conflict consultation: When an organization or team is experiencing conflict, we provide support for leaders and managers who are in need of objective outside perspectives and insight from experts. We provide consultations, wherein we ask pertinent questions to gain understanding and then provide insight and advice in the form of offering resources and strategies for constructively addressing the conflict situation. 

  • Program design: When a tense issue or ongoing behavior among a group becomes problematic, we work with leaders and key stakeholders to design interventions in the form of a program. Examples include employee development training sequences, facilitated dialogue programs, etc.

  • Mediation: If two individuals or groups are in direct conflict with one another, their conflict impacts the larger organization or team. It is helpful to utilize a mediator external to an organization to facilitate a mediation process where the goal is to resolve the conflict and reduce the disruption to the organization or team.

  • Meeting facilitation: When the stakes are high, the tension is high, and a decision must be made in an upcoming meeting, we provide external support as a non-invested party to facilitate a meeting or a series of meetings.

  • Organizational culture and conflict assessment: Different organizations or teams have distinct cultures in terms of how they handle conflict, tension, and diverse perspectives. Often, the manner in which a group deals with conflict is disruptive and unconstructive. We provide the service of evaluating the culture of conflict within an organization or team. We then offer insights, resources, and suggestions on how to shift aspects of a group's culture and communication around conflict so it is less disruptive and more constructive.

  • Strategic planning and messaging: When leadership in an organization is planning for some change or new initiative, it is important to anticipate any blowback and potential conflict, fear, and resentment that employees or group members may experience or express. We work with leadership to strategize and plan for the best platform and most effective language when delivering the message so as to reduce negative responses that could impact the morale, productivity, and mental health of employees. Additionally, we recognize that negative responses could hamper the success of the change or new initiative.​
